*This is a Part-Time position* The Payroll Auditor works in concert with the payroll processor to ensure the accurate preparation, documentation, distribution, and reconciliation of payroll. This role is responsible for the review and examination of payroll processing and employment status changes. Ensures data is accurately processed and maintained according to organization rules and applicable regulations. Provides backup to the payroll processor during absences.
Responsibilities include answering questions for customers, agents, State Office personnel and mortgagee/lienholders. Analyze and solve problems as they arise. Knowledge of policy coverages for all lines of insurance. Provide record of activity and substantiating evidence for use by Claims personnel and legal defense.
This investment analyst position requires knowledge in multiple financial market areas such as fixed income, common stocks, and alternative investment. A strong desire to develop further expertise in the investment process is a prerequisite. Duties will include both finance and accounting related activities, such as creating investment research, analyzing market data, and resolving discrepancies.
Other responsibilities include active participation in market outlook meetings, risk tolerance, trading securities and investment related research duties. This team member may also help create and organize an economic update for distribution to the Company’s Senior Leadership Team.
Reports to: District Claim Manager
Job Status: Hourly (15 – 38.5 hours per week)
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Location: On-site at Jackson Regional Office
Term: May 2024 to August 2024
This position will work in a support role to the Claim, Product & Risk Management, Information Technology, and Agency Support & Marketing departments as they provide service to KFB members and stakeholders in the field. Position will allow for exposure to claim projects, claim reporting, claim handling procedures, the life cycle of the insurance policy, and the support of internal and external customers.
